Latest Daily Thought

Daily Bible Verse:              Colossians 1:17

'He Himself existed before anything else did, and He holds all things together.'

- The Lord is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
- He is God and we can rest in the fact that He holds all things together.
- Your situation may seem out of control, but He holds it together.
- Give Him your concerns, because He will hold things and work things out.

PRAYER:
Lord, I place all my cares and concerns into Your capable hands. I ask You to hold things together and work things out for my good. Amen.

ABOUT US

INTRODUCTION

My name is Andrew Roebert (pronounced Ray-bert). I live in the city of Pretoria, South Africa, together with my wife Vanessa and my two daughters, Caitlin and Amy. For three generations now, my family have been serving God in various capacities. I was born in Pretoria, South Africa in November of 1966. My father, Pastor Ed Roebert was the pastor of the Hatfield Christian Church in Pretoria until his death in 1997.

This church was not a 'normal' church, but it was a place where we discovered that God was alive and that He loved us and wanted us to know His presence in our lives as a living reality. This involved the active pursuit of the Holy Spirit and as a result many people were drawn to what was happening. Being brought up in this environment and with a Godly heritage, has been something special to me, and out of this background came a desire within me for more of God.

I currently serve as CEO of Impact Radio in Pretoria, South Africa. I host a regular radio programme on this station and write articles for certain Christian magazines. I am also a pastor at CHOOSE LIFE Church, in Pretoria East, South Africa. You can find out more about the church by visiting the website: www.chooselifechurch.com

THE IDEA BEHIND IT ALL

This site has been created to help those individuals who would love to experience more of God. The Bible tells us that we can be 'Alive to God'. For many Christians this has been an element that they have failed to enjoy. Enjoying God and His presence in our lives is something that we can 'know' and experience in our lives. In the process two ideas emerged in an attempt to try and assist individuals in this regard.

1. A DAILY THOUGHT:

A daily, short and fresh reminder every weekday, of the fact that God loves each of us with the hope that it would encourage and strengthen us.

2. NOTES:

Notes that would provide the impetus for spiritual growth.  These are sent out as they become available.
